Martial Arts and Sciences
How the Martial Arts Work
The begining phases of development are rooted in science, such as:
- Power (force production) = Mass (wieght) x Accleration (speed)
- Speed = Distance/Time
- Quickness (Time Consumption) = Number of movements + Distance Traveled/speed
Martial sciences are defined to develop specific skill sets within specific paramters. However, the spontaniety of combat contains countless extraneous variables.
As organic and intelligent beings, we have the ability and will to spontaneously adapt our skills to various circumstances.
Thus, a martial science becomes a martial art.
